I've got the newest SysStats and I'm following the instructions to the point but somehow as I load the world.ini, it gives me a error message and crashes the whole objectdock...? Any advice?

Hmmm. Make sure that the docklet isn't at one end of the dock (no. really). Install MSXML4 http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=3144b72b-b4f2-46da-b4b6-c5d7485f2b42&displaylang=en

Okay, how can I change the location of the clock's time? I'm sorry, I'm a bit new to this objectdock system and SysStats... :

Cool stuff I can not seem to get the zoom map in and out to work. With the docklet highlighted i.e. displaying the location label the i and o keys do nothing. Any help appreciated re what I am doing wrong.

This is only a problem for me if it's at one *particular* end (the bottom of a vertical untabbed dock).

FWIW

Okay, how can I change the location of the clock's time?

For future reference, right-click the docklet & choose 'configure' and there're some instructions in the 'description' panel. To answer your question, CTRL+LeftClick the docklet to enter the location.

I downloaded this fascinating clock and SysStats. I printed your instructions and followed them, but SysStats doesn't show up at all when I right-click my dock. It's definitely in the ObjectDock folder. I'm using XP-SP1. I'm using Folder Names. Please tell me, what am I missing?

Did you try right-click, select "Add Entry" ? SysStats should be in the menu.

Yes, I did, but it wasn't there.

I'm using ObjectDockPlus; does that make a difference?

Apparently that was my problem. I had put SysStats in ObjectDock, not the Plus version. Now it's showing up the way it should!

But sadly, I still can't get World Clock to work. No matter what I do, I'm told the path is incorrect. Just clicking on world.ini isn't enough. Thanks for listening, alpha-prime, but I'm getting discouraged after several hours of trying!

Its not enough to just have the mouse over it - you have to have clicked on it first - then the mouse-wheel and the i an do keys will work.

Had a go when clicking on the docklet, i.e. it changed to a dimmed icon but i & o would not do anything. I managed to get the effect I wanted using configure > overlays > world > configure. By adjusting scale I could zoom in and I then used draw at x & y to nudge the map to show the whole of the country rather than be centered where my location is.

***** from me.

Make sure the files are all in the correct place.

..\docklets\systats should have sysstats.dll and sysstatscom.dll

..\docklets\systats\config should have world.ini

..\docklets\systats\images\world should have lots of png and jpg files

..\docklets\systats\scripts\world should have two vbs files

Not sure if having both object dock & plus versions is causing your issues.
On the blue sysstats ? icon right mouse click, select load, world.ini should be visible.
