How do you alter the what the quick-menu (number 1 to 5) is displaying?

I really don't think this skin is all that great... it looks nothing like the Win2k GUI, and those gradient scrollbars are quite annoying.

Looks good, just do not care for the gradient on the start menu and taskbar. Looks too wild. Overall, not bad.

Hey, I think this skin is fantastic! I really, really like what it does with my object bars. I think it is a bold and elegant skin, very beautiful. I like the deep blue and the gradient too. It has a real smooth sense... like deep, rich silk. And those buttons are unique. Nicely done! Thank you. I am going to be using this one a lot... for sure!

Oh... and I like the mouseovers on the toolbar. The control buttons are like little silver tiles that twinkle with a mouseover. Pretty! I keep finding little surprising things that I really like. You are doing some very innovative stuff with the toolbars. Great work. Thanks again.

Thanks to all!
Karlie: I was trying to bring a little spice to an otherwise mundane look. The entire point of the skin was originally to add extra functionality to a standard widows look. As for the gradient being too wild, try toning it down some using the custom colors - you'd be surprised at how it changes the overall feel.
GoodMorphing: I'm glad you like it! Back when I originally did this skin (Janurary of 1999), I wanted to add lots of extra functions without really radically changing the look of windows. To change what the lower left icons actually do, you'll have to manually edit the uis or sss file of whichever version you are using. The buttons with action code 5 are the ones you want to change the command line on. I've even included some extra icons!
Old Crab: Sorry for the long wait! I was trying to find just the right look for the XP stuff without having to completely remake the skin. I was looking to find a balance between the new and the old - without going overboard. The only real critic who posted here didn't bother to notice that the skin was originally made before Win2k was even available! LOL

The Win2k look is not so exciting any more, but your skin is really good!

Wouldn't it make sense to make this skin into a UIS1?

Haven't done one in quite some time but I don't believe UIS1 supports the added control buttons.

Great, I'm having fun proving to people that my windows are skinned.

classic. one of my alltime favorites. stealthy in looks, but incredibly functional when configured. Ppl thought I "hacked" the GUI to add the features, but it was really this skin. For those not around way back when, this baby made it into the Top 20, or close to it, at the "old" skinz.org which was a testament to its appeal.

Love the skin, it's clean, quick, and adds extra features to the GUI.

What more could you want?

sypderman: the start menu in the screenshot is showing what the skin looks like run under XP.

You could try downloading an XP skin in Object Bar, and use the "Use WindowBlinds skin colour" option, but as I have XP, I haven't tried this yet. LOL
