I just noticed a problem with the Start Menu. I'm running W10 Pro 64-bit. The gradient blue slightly overlays my user name and the first program name. Also, when I type in the search box it's black text on a dark background. 
I should add, I'm using Start 10.

Sorry I'm not seeing the problem with the user name situation. I have found the screen resolution can change the height of the SM text. -- I know you have messed with SKS. Try this. Open the skin in SKS. Edit Startmenu and Taskbar. Go to the Right hand side/Places list. Click on "Text" at the botton. The Top number should be 52. Change it to 62 or higher and see if that fixes the situation for you. Don't forget to click Apply skin after you change it. --- Let me know how you make out with this and if it fixed your situation. If it did I will make the right hand side text lower on future skins.
The search box text is Black and that is it. You will see that on asll skins. If I made the search area White or a very light color it would not match the skin. At least for me. Make sure you type in the correct letters. lol.
NOTE: When you open it in SKS make sure you open it to the Win 10 sub style.

Dave, I changed the setting to 62 and it cleard my user name but not the top recent program icon. 72 and 82 didn't seem to make any difference. I'll try 102 later and let you know it that was enough. It's a bit of a pain because every time I start Skin Studio it makes me enter my OD subscription key and then it's extremelely slow when I try to type in a replacement number.

Something wrong with having to add your number each time. We could do this by email but it takes your email 3 days to reach me. LOL.

I figured out the setting you had me change only affects the right pane of the Start Menu. is there a different setting for the left side?
