great job for your second attempt!!! the skin feels complete and all works well. but on the other hand, it didn't feel consistant (black taskbar as opposed to blueish windows with the large buttons). on the other hand, if that's what you were going for then it's great.
on thing does seem odd. the start button doesn't really match the theme and i'm guessing this is why https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=1&SkinID=2850

thanks for the comments scion2412... i actually used the start button from the blank windowblind template and experimeted last night with the colors on another skin - soon to be released called " scarlett "...so i thought i'd clean up the start menu on this one tonight as well... i did look at pixutdio's skin for some idea's along with a ton of other skin's over the last week or so about what to do and built upon this and that on mine... and thanks to greenreaper for letting me pick his brain over the weekend... slowly im understanding this and that... thanks
