No. I did a bit of reading on it and the plug in wont do layer sets. Evidently that trick is going to be in the future version of GIMP.
All I did was use a layer called trans_volume instead. It works but not all the time for some reason. I think it might be a glitch in the program? It works when you load the interface in the middle of a song but when the next song starts...nothing. It does look cool when it's working though!
