Thank you Cavan1. The funny thing is that there is no real science behind a boot skin. All you need is a back image, a progress bar image and about 8 small lines of coding.
So how much perfect does a bootskin needs to be in order to get a decent rating?

Hey Apoc, it may be that you have, not sure how or why, pissed someone off. Your last bootskin, Vista, was as low as 1 star.
Thats a hell of a reward for the time you are putting into the skinning contests.

Very true Cavan, but people tend to see what ever they want to see.
As far as pissing someone off, that will only shows the level of immaturity some people have as to take 'revenge' by rating a skin low just because they are upset with the artist.
