These types of images tend to be richly colored and rendering down to 16 colors often leads to mixed results - I tried my best and I think it turned out ok.
I have created another christian themed bootskin titled "Our Savior", if you're interested check it out. I did this one as per an email request from another user - it would be nice to see other christian themed bootskins on this site, they seem to be a rare oddity amongst all the other work submitted here.

Glad you liked it, I get so many requests for christian bootskins after doing one @ month ago (titled "Our Savior"), I've asked that other bootskinners try to create more christian themed content, I haven't seen anything new submitted with a christian theme and a user emailed me requesting one and even provided some pics for possible ideas, I liked this one alot. It's simple, the colors aren't the best compared to some of my other bootskins but I think it turned out pretty good.

Nicely done. Too bad it isn't more people's cup of tea. I'm just greatful to be part of a site that doesn't slam you for mentioning Christ's name, as is so often the case nowadays.

It's like I said when I posted my first christian themed bootskin on this site,
there are lots of "flipside" themed bootskins (beast, demon, devil, triple six, etc.) but not many christian themed bootskins (I think I've counted 4 in total, my christian bootskin would be 2 of that total 4). If this site would really stop me from posting a christian themed bootskin, I would have to wonder why the site would be worth my time in creating bootskins regardless of the theme. Let it be known just in case some are wondering, I'm not a "bible thumper" (whatever that means) but I do believe in a higher power - leave it at that.
Wincustomize.com is a great site, they allow for all forms of expression within reason - my only hope would be that other people would get into this hobby and post some more christian themed bootskins among their other various themed work as well - what would be holding people back? It can't be for lack of skill, I've seen some real awesome work on this site, my stuff pales in comparison to the work that exists on this site.
