I have a similar type of 'fuzzy clock' on my website written in Javascript which I love and to ahve something similar for my desktop is.... brilliant!
There is one serious problem though which I hope you could give me some advice on?
I found it VERY difficult to find -anywhere- on my desktop to put it, when you consider all of the other objects and widgets I have on there which you hve crfeated.... and advice????
With my best wishes,
Steve Johnson.

cheers Steve - don't worry about the spelling, I speak pretty good typonese - to fit it on maybe change the font to 6 pt tahoma
hey Woodbridge - cool suggestion you had there. I haven't actually added much since the version I sent you, apart from the date part of it. It would be cool if it had some sort of alarm function next, or just text reminders. I don't want to clog the simplicity up with too much gubbins tho...

essencay - mouse hernia LOL yeah, I must admit it does take a bit of practice... I may see about adding a hotkey switch, but I am sure I can optimise the shaking deal too. It's quite a tricky bit of script - the hard bit is making it so it doesn't change willy-nilly when you are simply moving the object around the desktop - hence the somewhat vigorous shake required. But I am sure I can improve upon it.
thx Septimus
cheers DigitalChet - fiddling around with things like this is about the most fun you can have with skinning I reckon

I added a couple of functions to the script. I added a discribediffup and discribediffdown to present different text for before the half hour, and after the half hour. Also, I added a year text line to complete the date. Let me know if you'd like to see it, and email it to you.
