First ..  nice widget

Second .. Question for ya.. Any time I load any of these ones that run off of Weather Underground the current temperature and last updated date are always the same. Shows last updated in february and with a temp of 17 degrees (varies depending on location I enter but all are last updated in Feb). It does show the correct forecast though when mousing over the days on the extended version. Just wondering if this is something there has been an issue with or if it is just me. I did clean out the DX cache but no luck there.

Strange....I don't get that, but I'll check with sViz, she wrote the script. I'll let you know what I find out.

Meantime, email me at DXDesigner1@aol.com and I may have a solution for you.

Go to the main Program Files > Stardock > DesktopX folder and delete NOAAWUexternalscript2.txt file. Restart widget.

Hey RD, thanks for trying to help. I would have emailed earlier but didn't have a chance until I saw the second post. I tried searching for that file and was unable to find it anywhere on the system. I ended up uninstalling DX and running CCleaner and then reinstalled DX and all is well now. Thanks again.

Ok turns out I was wrong. All of the above temporarily fixed the issue but once I ran one weather widget now all of them automatically go to yesterdays last updated and temperature. If I change the location it will reupdate for that location but once I go back to any previous locations used it shows the last update and temperature for the first time I used that location. Did another search of the computer twice and still can't come up with the txt file mentioned above. Odd. Oh well. Thanks for trying anyhow.

If you have DX 3.5 installed, it is here;

C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\DesktopX...... If you have 4.0, it will be in Public documents somewhere.

If you have DX Pro, it'll be here:

C:\Program Files\Stardock\DesktopX

Delete it, go to C:\Users\Your Name\AppData\Local\Stardock\DesktopX\CurrentTheme(you may have to show hidden folders to do this)

and delete the current theme folder, and the widget cache folder. Do this with no theme or widget running. Run my most recent weather widget.

That should fix it.

If you have DX 4.0, check both locations because it don't remove the 3.5 install completely.
