This looks great Roman and the switch to the small one is smooth.

Pos: Great widget
made by a master
matches all my favorite DX stuff
works great...but...
Neg: when minimized, continued to retain control over 'footprint' of former max state
so any widgets "stacked" beneath the min state were inaccessible 'til I dragged the
calendar off, out of range, while I worked with the ones below in the stack,
then repositioned the cal widget back again.
All that time, I could see the ones beneath, all actively working,
just not interact with any 'til I dragged the cal out of the way
after using cal for a day, getting all set up as I wanted, it went away, vanished
although the icon was still in the systray and responded to right-clicks as usual...
...just no cal on the desktop. Tried Z-order, F9, F10, etc., figured my system
just gobbled it up or it didn't want to play nice, so uninstalled cal, and came back to grab it again...
I probably just mistreated it 'til it ran away

Nope...no joy...all the others run fine, just not calendar. Icon in systray or wherever I tell it to be in Properties, but no cal on desk... I tried unloading all the widgets but cal, and nada... ... I'll clear widget cache & see if that does it...

Clearing the cache worked. Just won't try to group them tightly together again, leave Z-order alone, normal on the entire GC series, and leave everything room to move. One other question I have, maybe you could answer: right now, the drivemeter's only showing the C:\-drive, no matter what I plug in to USB or if I insert a CD or DVD. Does the meter have to be restarted to recognize the newly-inserted drives? As I remember, the preview showed multiple drive-reports...
Thanks again, R

Well, for ____ sake! Horse on me. Clearing the cache must've done it here, too. D-meter works just as slick as it should. All these posts and I've got crow feathers hanging out of my mouth...[old fart goes outside to pick up after the dogs...leave the @#!%*&! PC for the kids, anyways ]
