The icon was originally designed for Mac but a version for Windows was also created. The designer used Adobe Photoshop and vector tools to create the design, and standard filters were used as well. The zip file that is available for download contains versions of the icon in .ico and .icns formats, with and without the remote control, as well as a full-sized .png image.
