It actually looks damn good as a Vista logon too...I'm using it now, but I'm not posting anymore of those until you can do something with them. 10 seconds to replace the wall and export it and a half hour to mockup a screenshot for it.

Thanks I.R.!

You make some of the best logon's that I've ever seen,
the image transparency, quality of icons used, the background image, placement of items, etc. - the overall quality is always excellent. Nice job on this logon!

Thanks a lot coglin! Actually, I just got a new computer with Vista but I had to install XP on a second drive just so I can still do my logons.

Quick question. I just bought OD 2007 this week and already have programs working in DX, IP and WB's (both resident and DL's). I haven't found the program yet for changing logon-logoff screens. Is there one in OD 07? If yes, directions please. If no, can you point me in the right direction? Your work is superb and would love to use some of it.

Thanks,

Robert

I think I'm good to go now. Just looked again through all of the programs and just found Boot Skins and Logons in TM 07 within ThX and DL'd them. That's all I need, right? Most of the offerings here use one or both of these programs, yes/no?

Thanks,

Robert

Yeah knofsky, the logons use Logon Studio. It's a freebie...don't know if it's in OD but there's a link to it at the top of this page. Or here also: WWW Link

All the logons on WC are made to work with Logon Studio.

As far as bootskins..Yeah, you need Bootskin by Stardock...also a freebie but not in OD I think.

Be aware that Bootskin doesn't work on all computers...it has issues with the bios in a lot of them...so if you lock up or get a blue screen...you'll have to uninstall it.

And thanks very much..let me know if you have any problems!

Recently, whilst fiddling with Logon Studio, I changed a setting for the logon panel width to 0%, I was thinking that this would shrink it by 0% and not set it to 0%, can you imagine! I had no way of clicking on the panel and being able to login.

Don't worry, I have the solution, while you are stuck on the logon screen, press windows key and the u key, this will boot up the utility manager then after clicking on the logon screen, using a combination of the cursor keys and listening to the narrator, you have to hear the glorious words 'password field', then you can type your password and get back into windows, I have been locked out all week, so in case it happens to some other poor sod, here is the solution!!!!!

This is an awesome logon and wallpaper! Very minimalistic in nature, which I love. There are no resizing issues (that I had) when going from login to wallpaper, a very big + in my book! I used the wallpaper as my bootskin as well. Used TuneUp Utilities 2008 to import logon and create bootskin, no problems. I'll be using this until my next reinstall of windows in a year. If I could rate, I'd give 5 stars.
