Can't you at least learn to make a few buttons or something? What is this, about 20 logons just changing the wall and getting downloads with them?? Sad indeed..

Boss, do you want me to stop using your logon framework?
- if so, please let me know. If it's offending you to see these types of logon's I'll stop
It's kind of hard to read you, you put out the logon framework, indicate to all to download & use it so that they don't rip your other work. I go ahead and do so and you seem to be giving me grief over it. I've commented on your work before, never said a bad thing, you seemed to be a good guy about it too.

Yes I've used your logon framework which you provided freely and allowed me (and anyone else who downloaded from your DA page) to use.
I added a splash based on the tutorial provided. I like how the logons turn out so I continue using the same setup. This is the 14th logon I've created (don't mean to split hairs but it's not the 20 you mentioned in your comment).

Once I get a setup that works, I tend to run with it: this works with my bootskins, my rainy's, my wb skins & my objectdock backgrounds as well as my logons. Heck some of your own logons look the same, correct me if I'm wrong, minus the bkgrnd image itself. But I guess since you've skinned the buttons and I haven't that this has created a huge rift in the logonxp world and apparently I have offended you to the point of "sadness" (I myself was not sad when uploading these logons), so I guess I won't use your setup anymore unless I include a "few buttons".

Criticism is one thing we can all learn to take and use towards a constructive purpose.
I can personally take it & make use of it without skipping a beat; however criticism laced with a hint (or more) of sarcasm & attitude ("Sad indeed..") isn't something anyone needs. You could have made your point without including that last bit of text - I would have gotten more out of a comment that said, "...maybe you should start skinning some of these buttons on your next logon skin".

Just remember we skin for ourselves first and upload to this site because we want to share our work with others. I like how these logon's look & work and that's why I uploaded them to the site - if I like them the way they are, isn't that good enough? Plus truth be known, I'm proud of the recent images in this latest series of logons, I created the twirl image & candy swirl paint effect in the interior of the twirl image myself and it was worth it for me to make a logon out of this image after seeing how nicely it turned out along with how the matching bootskin's turned out. If users want more functionality from a logon, they can certainly search the site & freely download one of your skins which have all the buttons skinned. I'm not profiting off my logons and I'm certainly not leading in logon download#'s or taking away from your logon download#'s so I don't know what sparked the rude comment from you. Just remember, when you post something, someone else is always on the other end of those comments/words.

So sorry. It was there as a "framework" to build upon. If you want to put in a wall and give it a "Vista" name, that's up to you. My bad...use it as you like.
