People and their dislike of text. hehe.. Always amuses me.
The text unifies the theme, folks. If you buy a Sony DVD player, Sony speakers, Sony CD player, Sony mp3 player and a Sony Wafflemaker, they'll all contain the Sony logo, yet few people think to complain.
The text not only unifies the theme with a common element, but it's the artist's choice to put it there.
I, for one, like the text and understand your choice to put it there.
My only hope is you keep doing things as *you* deem most fit. Never mind what any one else says. If it's a usability issue, or a bug, an error - fine - report it. But there's no point in uttering one's design preferences. It's endless. And pointless.
Sure you could remove the text, but then I'd ask, "Why?" I like it. 
There'll always be those who dislike some element of any piece: fine. This is immutable and won't change at any point. Keep up the good work, mate!
