Many thanks Uvah for the SIX stars rating ! I'm very glad for my first official icon !
ADDED: ... well this is the direct link to Lucidity exe .zip freeware and portable (no installation required)
First setting: drag&drop the same desktop wallpaper image on the Lucidity application icon (or create a shortcut in the "Send-to" folder then right click the image > send to > Lucidity.exe) this is also valid to change the wallpaper !
From now on you can unload the effect from the Lucidity tray icon (exit) and load again clicking the TransLucidity icon on the dock !!
Let me say that this trasparent effect is more usable respect the real transparency as the topmost window will never be disturbed by the other "not on top" windows or by the desktop icons !

well I fell the application Lucidity a litlle bit mine as I had the original idea, I was the beta tester, I created the official icon ... but all thanks are for skwire who was very kind to develop the final application !
btw: more precisly "trans=30%" is meaning 30% of opacity and you can change the level from the tray icon.

Try it with Deskscapes for a very interesting effect, transparent desktop animations!

I just applied the Moon Phase deskscape to a night photo of mine. Stunning! I wish there was a way for me to capture the effect, other than as a static snapshot.
