I don't know if this is just something with my config or what, but I seem to be having a little trouble with the bells and clock glass showing up...
Any ideas?

Same here. I just get the background part of the clock. Any suggestions Judge?

Well works fine here. Anyone actually got it working - just so I know I'm not going mad?

Works like a charm here. Maybe you should tell people that the show_clock.ini goes into the configs folder and the PNG files should be placed in the icons folder, which are all located in the SysStats folder .

I checked the ini file and made sure all my png files were in the right folders. Still no luck. It finds the background ok, but not the glass face or the bells.

Same thing here, SchlGrl. As the description states, I unzipped everything into the SysStats folder, and with WQinzip, didn't have to worry about where to put it since there were paths saved in the zip, so everything is where it should be. If I thought ya were being mean-spirited, Andreas, I might be offended... But then again, maybe not... heh heh heh And, ya know Judge, there is the possibility that you ARE going mad, but you're not alone.. I've been going for YEARS. LOL

ok... I think I figured it out, guys... This might just be on my config, but when I have the latest Calendar Docklet (3.4) going, the overlays for the snow clock don't show up. I had to turn off the Calendar Docklet, start up the Snow Clock, and then I could restart the Calendar Docklet. And, I see the overlays... (Great work, Judge. Looks wonderful.) Maybe those two things are not meant to be run at the same time.... So, if you have CD3.4 running, try removing it from the dock, starting the Snow Clock, then, if you want, go back and start the Calendar docklet again. Good luck, yall. And thanks for the suggestions and help, Andreas... MUCH appreciated. Made me actually use what brain I have...

ok... last comment from me... Sorry to be hittin this one so hard... I have found out the issue. The Snow Clock and the Calendar Docklet are not compatible, or at least not running at the same time, unless you start only the Snow Clock and then add a Calendar docklet after booting. I just came off a reboot, and the overlays were missing again, but the calendar and the clock face and hands were there. Had to remove the calendar docklet, then quit and restart ObjectDock. I REALLY like the calendar docklet, but the Snow Clock goes with the rest of the skins I have going right now... So, bye bye calendar, for now...

Just thought I would let you all know what the issue was, and hopefully yall could find a workaround that does not involve getting rid of the Calendar, then exiting and restarting OD...

( I don't use the calendar, so I'll have to find another work around. It looks so pretty in the preview pic too!

A question for the folks who are having problems: How do you start ObjectDock up? In particular: what is the 'start in' folder? If you run it from a shortcut (i.e. in your startup folder, on you desktop etc.), right click on it, make sure that the 'shortcut' tab is active and see what it says for 'start in'. It should be set to your objectdock directory.

Failing that, quit ObjectDock, edit snow_clock.ini and replace the relative pathnames to the overlays with absolute ones.

Omigosh! I don't believe it. I changed the 'start in' to the Object Dock directory like you suggested and it worked! Hooray!!!

YAY Judge!!!
Worked like a champ, and let me keep the calendar docklet too... Changed settings and rebooted and overlays are there after reboot.. Have to keep that in mind for other issues, should I run across any.. Thanks again.
