Plus since there are 2 styles included in this one, the body bkgrnd images were doubled which ended up doubling the normal size of this rainlendar - I'll try to reduce the file size bloat on future submissions, sorry about that.
The glass effect is acheived by taking a solid color square for this example, adding a beveled highlighted edge to the top & bottom of the square, adding a darker color square outline (1 pixel width) to the square image and then adjusting the transparency on the image to 80 or 90% opaque, to add just enough transparency/translucency to make it barely see through. The result is something close to a glass effect. Adding a carefully positioned white shade effect to any colored square image starts off the "glass" effect, polishing it off with varied filter's & effects gets you the finished look. The process is a little different for everyone, mine isn't that great - it could be better.
