Scroll down from top to bottom and the buttons light up with the letters. From the top...H=home or current month,T=todo, E=event,P=previous,N=next,-=edit todo,+=add event.You'd think I'd put that in the description (hits self upside the head). I used first the rounded rectangle, overlayed the ellipse then the triangle both set to different transparency values. The light and dark regions are black and white fog using the artistic filter. Then adjusted the hue/saturation till I got the effect I was looking for. Opened the image dialog and applied a 4 pixel frame, then opened filter dialog, frame,3D button frame double sided. The image surrounding the buttons are a separate image set to the transparent background offset from the main window. Instead of changing the mouse over state to be lighter than the normal I simply added a letter that reflects the white background behind the button. I think that's what I did anyway. I have to go back and look now...oh boy
