thanks buzz, i am still working out the in's and out's of doing it all so i will try and make my next one with a frame.

Well I'm still d/loading this Nimbin so I'll comment later - I'm kinda surprised at the file size - most RC's are under 50 kbs.

You really need to remove a ton of extra files in this nimbin. You left all the extra 1290 bmps that you were practicing with and you also included the entire wallpaper in the RC folder as well as 2 thumbs db's ( this is why file if 20 times bigger than normal.
The RC is not named what you stated in the description,the file is called " Scott" in the RC skins menu editor.

fairy, thanks for the advice it was greatly appreciated, i actually forgot that i had those files still in the zip, i have submitted another RC which you will find is greatly reduced in size. i promise to try harder next time and hope you will continue to give me advice and criticism where it is needed

My only suggestion would be to maybe put some kind of frame around it just to distinguish the menu when on a dark wallpaper.
