8 actually will run with less puter than 7 - less ram etc ... ummm
running 3 boot on this puter 8, 7, & vista on a 5 year old puter 4 gigs ram - mid end vid card ,,,, etc ..
this edition very early though not loaded with much yet , waiting 4 for first beta 
Retail release vesion probably still a year away

About Windows 8 :
even though i'm running a triple boot with 8 , 7, and vista
start up and shutdown speeds are realy fast
opening programs and surfing the net allot faster in Win8 than 7
hope to see more built-in Eye Candy though !
PS: my desktop is set to Toggle back and forth between the 7 look
and the New Metro Desktop when I hit the windows key on the keyboard - cool !
