Thanks for the comments. The Main work was done in Vue4. The plants and the desert floor and the mountains were touched up in Photoshop.

Both programs offer certain advanyages...Vue 4 seems to fit with my style.

However... not very realistic.
Try using a different program if possible. You can try touching it up in a paint program or even get better textures.
It looks like this was done in Bryce and no doubt it took a long time to render. Now im not saying it wasn't worth it, but i think u should have payed more attention to smoothing.
The weedy scrubs around the well are well done but they don't carry on enough.
Apart from that this is excelent piece of work and I expect many more pictures of this quality from you
