But I found out, that he's using taskbar.bmp instead of taskbutton.bmp for skinning the taskbar-buttons. The start-button is skinned with sysstart.bmp instead of start.bmp. Maybe that's a help to find out, what's wrong with my pc.

Look what you must do:
Delete the old skin and the updated skin, from the "Display Properties->Appearance" select the old skin and click the button "Delete". Do the same with the new too.
Close the Display Properties and then re- open it. Go to "Appearance" tab and click the "Add" button. Find the SB Skin. If you do this, I guess that won't be any problem.
