ObjectDock: Creating a Dock as a Drawer

Video Demo

Wednesday, July 25, 2007 by Island Dog | Discussion: ObjectDock

I recently wrote about the "Top 3 ways to use ObjectDock", which I showed some of my favorite setups for ObjectDock including a docket dock, drawers, and a minimal configuration.

I noticed this morning that a few people had questions on how exactly to configure ObjectDock into drawers, so I made a quick video showing how to do this.  It's quite simple, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

That shows just how easy it is to make the single tabbed drawer. Nice job bud, I think I'll still upload a hard copy tutorial, maybe over at the wiki for folks also.

Okay, I know this was directed at me, the clueless one...  But it worked!! I was trying to create the drawer by dragging a corner while the dock was in the middle of my screen, then trying to place it against the side. Doh! Your video was perfect, and I am now a happy camper/docker! Thank you SO much for doing this ID!

messiah1, that is a great idea!

I fixed it messiah. On the template info page, you only need to copy everything under the line (!-- Copy from below this line. --) when you go to edit the template page to copy what you need.
