It's all well and good knowing how to change a specific color now and save presets, but it doesn't help that the colorize preview doesn't actually show all the colorized sections of a skin. Take WTM for example:

As you can see, none of the actual colorized bits are showing, it's the active taskbar button that is colored. Hopefully in a future update this preview screen will be able to show all states of the taskbar buttons, so that skins with minimal coloring will have a chance for a makeover. *hint hint Neil*

OK, I've gone over and over and over the screencast to change colors in WB6 and I'm obviously missing something. The color I want to chang3e is the plain white of the menu, etc. to ANYTHING else. Help please (

White (and black) has no color, you can't change it.

You would have to open that image in a graphics program to change...or create a replacement.

Vienna can go lighter or darker...but not change colors with hsl.(it has no hue to change). You might get a colorize look with it by unchecking hsl but I doubt it.

The eyedropper grabs the HUE to change...what you see in the box will be the median hue,not the actual shade you might have dropped it on.(it has to grab all shades dark to lite or it would only be changing part of a color range)

I had that same prob a couple of times too...had to set the hue grab and range by guesswork.

Yes,more visible elements would help.

Didn't realize the draging to color feature or the reason behind HSL...Duh!....I think more elements would be a good idea, for instance some text areas that are unreadable because of contrasting colors....Thanks
