Although that looks neat Harley, Ive always thought special folder images just got in the way, even when made almost transparent and with XP being phased out...well.. need I say more.

Point well taken! In application it would be more translucent But considering the fate of XP well guess your right!

But from a graphics end would it not be cool film reel spinning, speaker thumping, camers flash, magnifier zooming in etc..... Oh well day late and a dollar short

Impulse is great for me, just drag and drop programs into it.
It would be nice if you had mirrors in the UK for Stardock our american cousins slow everything down in the evening here in the UK.

#1 WindowFX upgraded to work with Vista (Vistas animations are great, but you cannot alter or change them) #2 New feature for WindowFX - the ability to have the start Menu fade in and out when opening it and closing (notice how all animations are moving towards fading in and out - this would make the start menu open much more smoother. #3 As others have requested - a boot screen changer for VISTA.

Windows effect when open and closing explorer, kinda like WindowsFX.

Second: maybe a function to change windowsblind skin after a specific period of time.

For Icon Packager, the ability to save some specific icons regardless of the package. ( or do we have it already, just that i don't know of it ?)

Creating folder to a specific location in Keyboard Launchpad? I post this in the help section but was ignored.

vStyler: MSN skinning, i second it. Plus Firefox and Opera, a customized desktop is incomplete without it.

More flexible for custom log on screen? Bootskin ? (this one is not really important, since bootskin of Vista is decent.

Other than that, i'm good. Every penny i spent on ODesk has shown me its value

Either update objectbar so it can truly replace the Vista taskbar (i.e. do everything the Taskbar does, but better, right not it is a bit lacking in some areas), or integrate objectbar (or something like it) with the taskbar, i.e. the ability to add a appbar to the taskbar which offers me my own menu. Also, a proper Start menu replacement would be nice. The way programs install themselves in the All Programs menu makes it practically useless.

Not so much a feature but i want the wb,ip windows including the impulse app to be able to be resized just like any window can be instead of stuck to a min size as it is now.

WindowBlinds: ability to customize IE7 on xp just like vista - maybe firefox and MSN.
IconPackager: allow the package to change more icons like tray icons or programs icons.
DeskScapes: for xp!
A Windows Explorer alternative that allows you to browse through your files in CoverFlow and Piclens mode
would be great..

I only request 1 wish: The ability for IconPackager to remove the shortcut arrow on desktop.

Republican for president.

Two more things: Animated icons upon launch - but not too complicated like IconX. A version of this program that works with XP and VISTA would be excellent: http://ubericon.com/ As someone else recommended, a version of Deskscapes for XP. Can it be done? Sure, plus more effects can be added like with this program : http://www.desktopfx.net/

I don't know if this would be possible with DX or maybe an enhancement of its own, but I would like to have individual desktop icons, I could place anywhere, with flyout capability without having to add say 5 seperate docks and tweak the positioning to get them where I want them. If you have a full OD that spans the lenght of your screen and have a flyout on either end, depending on how many apps are in the flyout, some of the icons and one of the arrows are lost off the desktop. Also, having 1 icon placed as a flyout, it may also be possible to have a 360 degree flyout which circles the entire icon a-la the windows 7 style circular dock I keep seeing. Can you say sweet??

Ability to click on a preview to navigate thru SKS instead of using tree. ( If not, re-organize\alphabetize treeview to be easier to navigate)
Better updating when making changes in SKS 6 / Copy and paste support SKS 6

Firstly, I'd like to see an Object Desktop logo that actually makes sense. Putting reflections on every inch of a logo doesn't make it "Web 2.0", especially when the reflections don't make any realistic sense. Secondly, please for the love of God update WindowFX for Vista. You have great D3D powered desktop and we still don't have "compiz" like effects. If anyone can pull off a "compiz" for Windows, its Stardock.

More free Master skins, fix broken things in WB, add a full code editor to SKS6 (it's useful sometimes when something is SKS is broken!) Update Object Edit! Adding CursorFX Plus in to the mix might be nice too.

Compiz equivalent, aka a major upgrade to WindowFX. Making it work on Vista would be a start.

i think the first thing to do, is finish updating apps for vista, that had release dates of last year. lets not go crazy adding all kinds of new stuff when several of the old apps don't work yet on vista properly

XP being phased out? Why? 35% of the people who bought Vista have downgraded to XP. I have no intentions of switching to Vista, ever!
