WC Community Question: What's Your Favorite Skinning Holiday?
Friday, July 31, 2020 by Island Dog | Discussion: OS Customization
The holidays we celebrate throughout the year have always been a popular occasion to apply some cool skins and themes to your desktop. Out of all the holidays during the year, a few stand out for skinning.
- Christmas
- Halloween
- Valentine's Day
- New Years
I think Christmas and Halloween are the two favorites, and they are definitely mine!
Do you have a favorite skinning "holiday"? Let me know in the comments if any of these area favorite, or if I missed one.

Having no kids at home to celebrate them with any more, I don't bother with Christmas or Halloween much these days. Gone are the days of spending hours putting up Xmas trees and decorations.... gone are the days of being woken up at the crack of dawn by excited kids telling me that Santa had been. We do get presents for the grandkids, and we do have a special Christmas dinner, but after that it's just another day for me. Shoot, I don't even celebrate my birthdays anymore.
I do, however, celebrate on New Years Eve, like out with the old and in with the new, but generally speaking there aren't as many New Years skins to mark the event. Not that I celebrate it personally anymore, Easter is one holiday that I'd add to the list. Plenty of people do celebrate Easter and I do recall seeing some skins to mark the event.

Yeah, no surprise Christmas and Halloween seem to be the favorites.

Not really any, but it gives me a darn good opportunity to use adni18's Christmas skins for some time.

My favorite is Halloween and in second is Christmas. I'll bet those two are the favorites of most folks.
