I think the deal Steve Jobs struck with the coders where they get a bonus every new version might have something to do with it

aside from adding video content and the like, i hope they're planning on large changes rather then just swaping out buttons or tweaking things here and there between each full release.
sound like the OSx series?
you really wunna download a new player every week? or download the player at least monthly with a series of changes and improvements, tested, and stable?

I do have a problem with Jobs tho! He can take his itunes and put it where he wants to!

I also donloaded a plug-in that shows what I played in the last hour and what my favorite songs are.
