Wow Wolfie! I really like the beatnik skin. I had been using sysmetrix but I got tired of it and decided to switch to beatnik again for awhile. But for the life of me, I can't figure out how to apply that skin to quick notes. It looks georgous.....

thanks GM I appreciate your comments. For the QN skin, just unzip the 4 files into a separate sub-folder, for example .../quicknotes/skins/AlienTechSilver.

Let me know.

Hi Wolfie...

It is in that folder, and I discovered there are other skins in there. But I don't know how to put them on. On Quick Notes I can't find a skin button...

Thank you ... you hunk-a hunk-a burning wolf!

Right click on the text window launcher button, choose 'configure'. There's a folder icon to the right of the text box at the top. Navigate to the skin folder you want then click OK. You may have to futz around with the Note Area Position and Note Area Size settings. You get there by clicking on the word "Advanced" in the main config window.

I never had a button... just that little line on the screen. So I went into it's file and worked from there! Now it works! HEH... I wondered what that little extra button you included was for...

Thanks! Now I use two things you skin for!

werewolf is completely confused now Are you talking about Beatnik or QuickNotes? All QN skins have a button which, when clicked, open the text window.

Well, if you unclick the 'icon in taskbar' option, then there is only the line. I have been using it that way since I got it. I looked everywhere for a configuration option. It was only by going to the system folder that I found the configuration.

I like having all the extra options that open with the line (like the drawing part) and now I have the button too! Best of both worlds!

Also, when I was trying to find it I found an update! So I am a quadrupole winner!
