I don't understand;what do you mean?There are 2 DIFFERENT bootskins in the .zip,Novocaine and Novocaine2,with 2 different progress bar design(difference is not only background);I did so because I think design and colours wall as well allow it.Of course both skins have been considered SIMILAR from moderators(and perhaps rating as well went down for this reason,it doesn't matter ),so I had to put them in the same .zip(at beginning 2 separate submissions were made)but the problem is:what SIMILAR does mean?Just because they come from same wall?
In my opinion,from example,your Boots 'V'(nice work),that are TOTALLY SAME, just standard and wide(besides,the wide one preview has the SAME standard screenshot size) should have been submittted in the same .zip,not the Novocaine ones,that are 2 different Bootskins(of course personal opinion);you can just apply them to check about.

Theoretically, the background color of the progress bar MUST be the first color appearing in the 16 colors palette when opening the main image in Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop or whatever other graphic software, though that if you don't give EXACTLY the same RGB value to it, the display won't be correct when booting ...
In that case, effectively there's not much difference, (just a very little on the "V" & "oranges" displaying), but that's not because the two screenshots have the same size that the bootskins are similar. For a more significant example, watch up:

Well,usually I don't like controversy;just,I have to say 1 or 2 things:
1)BootSkin MUST WORKS FINE,it doesn't matter progress bar background colour.I don't know if you downloaded and applied Novocaine boots,but I can ensure you they both works fine.
2)Your 'V' boots are nice,it doesn't matter "similar" or not(however,would have been better posting a widescreen size preview in the "wide" version,just like,for example, in Where Evil Grows wide by sidneysiders in the main gallery opening page).Just,I had a "talking" by mail with a moderator because they requested to put both Novocaine boots in the same .zip,and I TOTALLY disagree with this,because they are DIFFERENT(after finishing Novocaine BootSkin I started a NEW work for the making of Novocaine2,and I REDESIGNED ALL progress bar components).
No any critics to your boots.
