OH and by the way, 'Waldo/Jason' is it really necessary for you to have to give yourself 'props'??
That's just sad! If you're going to be all covert and stuff, at least change your name in your profiles.
Look, nobody's going to give you 'crap' unless you start it off. There's a ton of people here that are TOTALLY willing to assist and help for FREE - All for the fun of it. Don't come off so agitated and aggressive - This is a great community - And everyone is easy to get along with.
Just be nice from the start and you won't have to spend the rest of your days having to compliment yourself. It's a lot better way to be.

I doubt the kid came to this site to get lectured. He can get that at home. Hopefully, we didn't discourage him from coming back again. Like he said up front, he's only 12 and doesn't know advanced techiques yet, but still had the guts to put his work out there. People should be giving constructive criticism instead of making short, mean remarks. If I decided to give this a shot and put my work out there - and all I got was " 
" and "This has absolutly no point ", then I'd be upset, too. And I'm 37 years old! 
Sorry waldokid, I can't give you any constructive criticism coz I'm a newbie myself. But, like SunDreamz said, there are lot of people here who are willing to help.
Today's waldokid could be tomorrow's tiggz.

Well thank you for sharing your bootscreen with us, Waldokid. I am just starting out myself and know that it is very hard when everything is so new. I would like to know how to do the more advanced techniques and admire your courage in sharing your first work as Tealfan pointed out. I can understand that some comments can really hurt. I have found that waiting before I react can be very helpful. If the comment from Dominic Pody had been directed at me I would simply have said that there was a great deal of effort that went into making that boot screen and the point of it was to learn and be part of an amazing community. Perhaps someone would be willing to explain some of the more advanced techniques so that you can continue to improve and enjoy skinning. Asking questions of those you trust and ignoring those who you do not may help
