Nice of me to correct a typo with a typo in my own post.

for the color, make sure your 'screen.bmp' and 'progress.bmp' are of the same 16 color bitmap.

the screen and the progress bar are both 16 color bitmaps saved in the same program. Is anyone else experiencing the problem or is it just me?

Maybe I should have said 'Color Pallet' I had this problem and realized the 'Color Pallet' (of 16 colors) had diffrent '16 colors' assigned. Good luck.

Yeah, the white turns to a different color. For your next version or just update this one, you need to fix the color so it'll stay white instead of turning to a different color, and maybe, if you can, make the 'Loading' bar the 'Formatting Progress' bar, where it'll count from 1% to 100%, then at 100%, Windows XP will load. That would be interesting if you can do that.

Other then the changing color and some incorrect grammer, Good job!

Even if they both have 16 colors you can still get the problem. They need to have the same color pallet.
If the location of the colors in the pallet are different you will get this kind of problem. Try saving the pallet from the main pic and using it in the progress bar.

I'll try and hopefully it will work. Thanks for the help.

Evil-Vegeta: i think the only way to do tat would have the background image be an animated .gif(or the like). If that would be possible in future versions that would be really neat

Creative and amusing. I like it. I wish the screen could scroll as well...

This bootskin is a rip-off of the slight modified "OverDOSe" boot screen created by "Denvish" at ThemeXP. Shame on "Dr. Drrae".

Love it, haven`t seen this screen since the older versions of Windows.
Citicen Evil-Vegata has a good idea about renaming the loading bar to "formatting".

I may be experimenting a little with the progress bar. Just wait to see what I come up with.

Ok, um, I *really* hope thats just a mockup, If you actually took a screenshot of some doc emulator formating your system, ...yeah...that would be bad, you would have gone through a lot of trouble for a screenshot, lol. Anyway, like it alot.
