By the way, you handled the style transformation to a boot screen well. I know the bitmap currently only allows so many colors (16?)

Thank you Paul... a must have and btw in all the years I've been around in the skinning community your ToonXP suite of stuff has broken alllll records on my length of stay for my Desktop 
though I have checked out other ppl's themes and skins "yours" immediately goes back on when I'm done... hehe! I love it!!!!

I just tryed the file on 2 differant systems, and one of them, my XP home system gave me the same error. I am not sure whats up. I will see if I can figure it out.

to get the bootskins to work.... save the file ( i save mine to desktop). then go to the bootskin file folder open up the skins folder ( where you see the folders of all skins you have) and create a new folder and name it the name of the file. then unzip the downloaded file to that folder and it will work... great bootskin

thats true but should not be nessasary. There is something going on with the files for some people. I will find out what ASAP.
