does it come with a straw?
- love it, the bootskin looks awesome John, as does your preview.
You know, if stardock was into an update, I would pitch this to them.
They're including the animated updates of the vista dream skins, I think instead of a still image, bootskins should provide an animated preview - maybe you should contact them about doing a software update - heck you could become a part-time stardock employee!

Thank You Rob for the great comment.
They're always appreciated.
I can come up with a couple ideas here and there. Most are lame of course. It would be nice to see an updated version of a BootSkin Program allowing for animation. To create it would probably be a little technical. I'm guessing their Program's written in C++.
I tried hacking it using your regular ResHacker Program, but these guys know what they're doin'.
I honestly don't think they would do anything about this particular program since Vista will overtake XP in the near future like XP has done with its predecessors. Plus, to be quite honest with you, I think they're not really concerned about BootSkins that much. I've done enough reading to find that they're more into the other things like WindowBlinds and such. BootSkins are practically unsupported in the "I care" area. Which doesn't matter to me. I go with what I like. Matter of fact, I thought I read somewhere that the BootSkin Program wasn't even created by StarDock. I could be mistaken, 'cause of my horrible memory, but I thought saw it somewhere.
Anyway, did you get the point behind my little slogan?
See, there's 16 colors in a BootSkin:
So I say 16 ounces.
32 Flavors is actually referring to 32 colors, meaning it looks as though I had twice as many colors to work with on this Skin than a regular one.
I figured I'd use that slogan whenever I'm working with alot of colors and retaining true and faithful to the original image's look and quality.
I think you might have missed a couple of my past messages to you. I had discussed my new findings on a different rendering method(s) which allows for better image retainment, and also in another message talking about your Internet Explorer.
So, either you didn't see them, or you didn't respond due to your LFS acting up again.
LFS - Lazy Fingers Syndrome

I know it's either LFS or LAS (lazy a$$ syndrome), one of the two for sure.
Looking at your bootskin image again, it just struck me that this would make a decent logon as well, have you tried them yet, if not give it a go, I myself have started to branch out a little, I've submitted a few rainlendars & beatniks (I wish all skinning was as easy as beatnik skinning - only problem is that there is no demand for new beatnik styles) and I have one logon which I submitted which has done very well considering it's my first (and also considering that most of the framework for that logon was done with Boss0190's assistance). WB's can be addicting but time consuming, more so than any other skinning project I've been involved in. You've definitely got some skills, you should also try your hand at one of these or other skinning projects - the site can only benefit from additional work submitted from a known & respected wincustomize author like yourself.

Uncle: Your stuff is great too. You both make very generous contributions. Your efforts are much appreciated, as are all the other fine, creative artists here and at the other sites.
