What the bootskin was meant to do,... was just simplify the boot process by having just a simple, plain "cover" if you will. Then... 'morphing' from that to the more advanced logon screens of the users choice. Then... obviously.... on to the Vienna desktop.
I've been able to make some really good boot screens, but my issue is, when Bootskin goes to apply it for use at startup, the colors look like a blue/gray/brown mud bath... haven't been able to figure out why.
