Keila, Yes to your questions - buy CursorXp Plus...its well worth the $10 dollars you put out for it!! You can change the size, color, brightness/contrast, etc!

Cool animations, but I would make the animation interval less then 200 miliseconds like you set it to. I tried and it looks best when is set to 100 miliseconds. Try it out !!! Anyway, Great job.
