Partner,
The idea (design), it is not bad. And already you that I am not nobody to give advice. What happens, according to my opinion, is that the coloring impoverishes the final result. I believe that this cursor would win a lot if you substituted the colors for a texture (flat) metallic or plastic type.
I encourage, I hope to see but your works. : -)

Thank you for the comments, though I'm not sure I quite understand what you mean by "substituting the colors for a texture", since that would make them rather static, unless you think they would work better as a more static design. Could you elaborate? Just to provide some explanation behind the design, my idea, when I designed my original set of cursors in '96, was that I wanted constant movement, to keep the eye interested. The colors are used to indicate the state of the system, as opposed to the overused hourglass and such. The continual movement also makes it very easy to tell when a system has locked up or is really under a heavy load. However, that's just what I wanted from a cursor set, so I have no problem making changes to better suit other peoples needs, and welcome any comments on how I can improve things.
