Looking at the Spinner0.png to Spinner17.png files, to make these work with cursor XP, you need to assemble all 18 files into a single png file. Since each source image is 32x32, the cursorXP png will need to be 18 times longer (so 567px wide x 32px high). you then need to evenly distribute the source png files, in order.
Next up, find the .conf file for that cursor (..\PolarCursorTheme\Source\Wait.conf~) open that up and you should see serveral lines that say something like
32 10 10 Spinner/Spinner0.png 60
Each section tells you something
32 = this frame is 32x32 in size
10 = center X co-ordinate is 10 from the left edge
10 = center Y co-ordinate is 10 from the top edge
Spinner/Spinner0.png = this frame's image location
60 = ms to wait untill it moves to the next frame.
You may need to convert that Wait.conf~ from the Unix format into Windows - I use Ultraedit32 for this
I hope that helps.

thanks for the info - i really appreciate it
i'm curious ... would you consider porting these since
you're the expert?
the reason i'm asking you is because i use your cursors
exclusively, and have been more than satisfied - i think
these polar cursors would make a great addition, don't
you think?

i'd like to release an 'update' of these cursors.
i've emailed moshi a few times with no response ... is
it permissable to get your permission to release an update?
i'd like to release the update on deviantart and maybe here.
please email me -> firstfooter@mchsi.com
thanks in advance

I would suggest that in your description on your update that you post a link to moshi's orignal, and a link to these saying that you've updated etc. I'll then post a link to your update on the description on these.
