If this is too stupid to be believed, ignore. But I don't have a clue how to manually recolour them. Would this involve bringing them up in something like PSP?

Open CursorXp proggie, then press Options, then Color, and then enable Hue Shift, then choose the colour You like by sliding that upped slider. Press apply, see results. If You don't like such color, slide more. Slide, slide, slide.
