Renzo..currently I am abroad and had a quick look at wincustomize for I like this site. As I am on a w98 puter now, I cant run the cursorXP. However, I doubt the original idea is from Jalentorn..have a look at my soapbox...I don't mind people altering original ideas that were seen from others, but I would like these people to give credit where credit is due...That goes for Jalentorn too...originality is quite easily obtained if you look at others work...Bad score to me..end of whining time

Lecrayon: I speak for my Renzo (my father) here. "Original idea" means that jalentorn actually sent my father an email with a very nice design of the theme by pencil, that showed this drop, the splash effect, spinning drops (if I remember correctly), etc. To me Drop and Soapbox are two different things, anyway, in this case a special mention for jalentorn was really needed because the idea (with precise drawn details) is by jalentorn, and he was so nice to scan it and send to Renzo.

Lecrayon: Whining is exactly right. I am tired of seeing people say things like "oh he used blue and round corners in his idea, he ripped me". Ripping is bad, agreeded but so is fishing for flimsy excues to accuse someone. You deserve no credit for this man's idea, unless of course you invented water.

Mack/N.G.E., you can achieve the translucent effect by going to CursorXP config>Options|Transparency and lowering the opacity. I've found a value of between 160 and 200 looks fantastic with this cursor (and DropPlus). Though the transparency option is only available with CursorXP Plus.

This is a very good cursor. it's resolution is good, the animation is good,and the effects are right on.
