Sorry Basketballchik311, these are not ment to be the cursors themselves. These are created to be used as trails - the little effect that follows the cursor - these are not cursors!

i have xp also and have no trouble, did you try Start,
Control Panell,
Mouse, properties box will open and you make adjustments there. good luck
