i really dig the "skin" but i don't like how it changes the itunes icon on my taskbar.

Curtains does not change icons.
The only impact on the taskbar icons would be if the style set dark or light taskbar mode in which case some apps might invert their icons but that's not curtains doing it and the same would happen if you set light or dark taskbar mode in the OS itself.
