The weather app rememberes its position and settings after revoot but not the main gadget. No ini file is written so that may be the problem. It does auto start but opens nowhere near where I placed it and does not open the calendar or remember my 12 hour setting.

I am sorry you are having issues. I cannot duplicate what you are mentioning. My tester cannot as well. When i move gadget and close it reopens where it was placed. I moved again and closed then did a reboot. Still opened where i closed it. I do not know how to fix the issue you are having. Could possibly OS issue not sure. I am on W10 build 1903.

I don't know what changed but thee gadget is now opending where I left it and with the 12 hour time but the calendar still doesn't automatically. Should it?

They all should be closed until opened by default. Or where you placed when closed. I will look into the calendar. You have mentioned twice. Thanks for the patience.
