Hi, Love this idea and want to get it to work. I keep getting an ini not found, unable to load settings error. Any idea as to what is causing this? I'm on a windows 10 machine. I extracted the zip to a folder and ran it from there. I get this error after opening the config window. It will not let me put numbers in the image frames, etc. 100 is already in the frame interval on opening config. Thanks in advance.

Hi Kraftystitcher, I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner. It is strange the ini file isn't present, I wonder if it's possible for the zip file to have been altered in some way. I'll have a look and re-upload it.

I'm happy to try and resolve issues or answer any questions about this if it garners any interest. It's a very old gadget I made, so please be patient with things like the system tray menu being a bit glitchy, I find left click works best on it. I'd suggest just going to File and loading some presets to see various effects. The image can be changed any time for the same effects. You can generate quite a lot of combinations of things and sometimes more milliseconds is better to get interesting effects. I ripped out the mouse cursor replacement function, because I didn't want to essentially release a poor man's CursorFx
I think this is different enough to what CursorFx does, and shows interesting result from a DesktopX gadget use case to be worth sharing.
