This looks neat and I would like to use it but I'm new to desktopx. Could someone tell me or lead me in the direction of where to figure this out?

Simple to use - while you're running DeskX, right click on the DeskX icon in the sys tray and select "New Object". Right click on the blue circle "Object" that appears and select "Properties". No click on "Appearance", select the "Plugin" radio button and choose "Uptime.dll". Hit OK and you're done.

I like. It works really well with XP, I have not gotten it to work with 98 or ME though.

He neglected to mention that you have to add it under 'aditional modules' first.. At least that's the way I understood it..

Anyone know how or if this plugin can be used with the latest releasebuild of DesktopX? If so, how? No more plugin button on "Appearance!"

This is an 'old style' plugin. You can force the plugin button to show on 'Appearance' by holding down the CTRL button when creating a new object. You can then follow MWard's instructions. Hope this helps.

Okay, with m8shark's help I got the bugger on the desktop, but is seems locked at 00:-16. No matter how long I wait, the uptime doesn't change.
What's, ahah, up?
