Marel, as a former USAF Radar Operator, I like what you've done, but the sweep is going the wrong way! The sweep on every radar I used rotates in a clockwise direction.

Another thought. If you have any interest in creating a complete radar scope with control buttons, etc. I have some pictures of some of the display units we used that could act as a template. They were actually colorful and somewhat unique. All the control knobs were colored differently and each had a very unique shape. I believe that was so that you would know which button you were using based on the feel, though I think most people just got to know where the controls were located through constant usage. Also, your comment about the black background is right on I never saw a scope with anything but a black surface surrounding the CRT.
