But how can I change the colors on the date numbers.I need something that will contrast slightly against a black background.

this is great but i think i found a glitch... if i import some objects like pop up schedule reminder or XEyes, the calendar goes away... i can't get it back unless i use object navigator to change it's transparency to >0%. defeats the whole purpose of "clearcal." Then i have to reinstall desktopx to get the calendar to be clear again... any ideas?

ok i think i may have figured it out... the calendar only works if you have iconX on
