Same problem - I see email instead of calendar. I'm running Outlook 2002 (which is the version reported by OfficeXP). cdpat@comcast.net

Some workaround for that problem:

Found at: http://www.outlookcode.com/d/ovcviewdemo.htm

Short:
At the tray icon of desktopx (right mouse) "list objects".
Find the "dateMonthText" script (right mouse) "Edit Script".
Delete the line 169 with the view parameters.
Should be under this line:
& "" & vbNewLine _

Go to "File" -> "Exit" and in the "dateMonthText - proprerties" Window click "OK"

If you now click on the Date the Outlook Calendar should be displayed. My window show one week with the small calendar and the tasklist now.

This version is updated to remove the Outlook View Control which is buggy to say the least.

There should be no problems with this one.

Looks great, but can't get it to work on my PC. OL 2002 - NOT the default mail program.

I keep getting the dialog to select OL user, and when I select the one I want, I get a script error mee=ssage but can't read it because the OL user selection dialog keeps overwriting it - like at 5-10 times per second! I watch this till I get cross-eyed, then it all stops cold.

Any idaes?

Script error from last post:
The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists, restart Outlook.
Line: 129
Code:
(not available)

When I select the option to disable and edit, I get no edit box.

Hi, like the idea. Doesn't seem to show recurring appointments though. (

Great tool but please tell me the significance of a date that's displayed in gray font (as opposed to white or yellow or orange). Thanks a lot.

This is a wonderful piece of work. Quick and nice-looking.

I'll just echo a suggestion already made: It would be great if it would show recurring appointments! This would make it a fully usable on a day-to-day basis and, I think, the first of its kind!
