I have your weather object on my desktop and I think it looks fantastic. Unfortunately I keep getting a window popup telling me that the ZIP code is invalid.
The popup seems to be slightly different from the one that comes up after clicking on the home town name. I am in Johannesburg South Africa.
The problem is intermittant
Any Ideas
Steve

I found that in the "weather_location" script, if the input for the zipcode is in city name form, the programme will search for the corresponding zipcode number and pass it to the "weather_image" object. And this works fine. But in the "weather_image" script, if the "weathertemp" variable has an empty value after a retrieval, the "ZIP code is invalid" prompt pops up, and at this point the programme assumes that the zipcode is numerical. Repeated errors occur if the input zipcode is in city name form. I tried to add some lines as in the weather_location script for checking and searching the corresponding zipcode number and it works fine for me. (It is just for personal use. Hope you don't mind, Martin).
If what I found is correct, I hope there will be a minor update from Martin for this great desktop object.
Thanks Martin.
