Really neat idea, Just what I've been looking for.

Doesnt appear to show all my task items, but it's still a bloody good idea.

Thanks a lot!! Brilliant.

Anyway to make the startmenu appear where the button is, and not at the left of my screen?

Thanks for your comments!

I know, the start menu is annoying, one way to make it less annoying is to turn it into a folder shortcut and choose the special "Start Menu" folder instead of using the start menu object. You can give that a shot. Maybe I'll make the change and upload it on Monday.

Enjoy...

I really hope you keep working on this one, as I think it is one of the best and most usefull DX items on this site.

Thx mrbiotech and nocool.

nocool, what else would you like to see on the object? I can add pretty much anything, though it already has everything I need, I can add more to it to accommodate others.

I would like to see a Quick Launch Bar

Again, brilliant.

An option to stop it following your mouse, but still pop up when you mouse over would be excellent.

When I click the minimize button for the systray, the whole thing dissapears.

Other than that, this is cool

forgot to mention, doh. I use truelaunchbar [ http://www.truelaunchbar.com/ ], so the inclusion of something similar would improve it's functionality no end. Also, the inclusion of the time on the end of the bar it's self instead of on the top.

I am not sure how to add TrueLaunchBar to the object. If anyone knows how to do that, I can add that one, too. Anyway, otherwise I think this last update answers everyone's needs.

Brilliant, thanks for all your hard work m8!

What about adding truelaunch bar style buttons, that popup a menu similar to TLBs? TLB is just like quick launch, but you can have menus that popup.

Thanks again for your excellent work!

I could find an inconspicious place to add some more buttons... Maybe numbered ones... I'm running out of ideas since the current bar fulfills my needs for shortcuts. The Q button pops up a directory filled with shortcuts for me so I just use that.

If you have something very specific let me know, otherwise I think I will leave this as it is. If you want I can just add couple more buttons, but I think that will be about it.

Oh, and if anyone wants to modify this, skin it, or customize it for their needs, I'm open to that...

davidliv: There is also another version of this out here that is better compatible with most recent DX and has better features such as fading away and stuff. Interestingly that one is called V2 even though it's newer...

Not sure. You may want to download the V2 of this, which interestingly is a newer version. It's more compatible with latest DX.
