Hey there Tiggz! Great suite!! Would love to use the clock in the Object Bar theme you put up but, since I'm pretty new to OB, I can't find how to import the clock?! So, ifn you could help me out....please. How do you get desktop x objects into the Object Bar theme???? Thanks much in advance. Hopefully you'll be able to read this here but, I'll post on the wb and ob pages too. Thanks.

I LOVE this alarm. The whole suite is gorgeous. My only problem is with the start bar in WB. It is mis-sized or distorted or something. Otherwise, just plain beautiful

Thx GM
dabe - what do you mean about the WB startmenu? do you mean it's aesthetically mis-sized or does there appear to be something actually wrong with it? Does it look like the version in the WB preview? Email me a screenie if you like.

The clock doesn't sound at the set time, and there's no way to set AM or PM. Everything 'looks' good, but vanity isn't all that matters. I'm using DX2.10 so it's current and up to date. You really need to allow AM/PM and fix the sound. /

hellish911 - the alarm sounds within a few seconds of the set time, I constructed the script so it only checks the time every few seconds so it wasn't too cpu hungry, I figured it wasn't a precision time keeping object. If you want more accuracy feel free to amend the script to your liking.
As to the AM/PM issue, there is no need for AM/PM if you are using 24 hr time, which this object is. It clearly states that you should enter the time in 24 hour format in the help text.
I must say I really hadn't considered the vanity aspect when I made the object, the priority for me was making it work, the graphics came afterwards - but if you want to slag me off feel free, although sometimes a more diplomatic approach might be preferable.

I'm have trouble setting the alarm. How do I turn the alarm off? When the async loop option is checked, it only plays for 1 sec. If i don't use the loop option, it plays, am I doing something wrong here?
also, is there a snooze button?

j dott, I can mail you the rainy if you like
thanks BaLuBa - so do you
MLLK - yeah, unfortuantely as you've discovered the async sound looping is currently broken in dx itself, it stops playing the sound when objects change their state, so the only option is to set it to not loop. You stop it playing by hitting the alarm bell icon.

you can also change the alarm. create a .WAV file and rename is rainthunder and put it in the file and say yes to replace it.

Can anyone help me? I can not get the sound to play on the alarm. The same problem exists on another alarm clock I tried to use. Could it be an ID problem or a conflict?
